Winter at Hampton Sailing Club
The days may be short and cold, but we’re not hibernating at HSC. We have winter racing on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Briefing is at 12:00, with racing starting at 13:00. Come down and enjoy the activities – if you dress for the conditions, you’ll hardly notice it’s winter.
How appropriate that HSC have received stock of HSC branded beanies, just in time for the winter. You can have one of these warming your ears for only $15. They’ll be on sale at the clubhouse during each of the racing days. They’re selling like hotcakes, so you’ll need to get in quick.
We have installed new heating in the clubrooms and have hot food available in the kitchen, so those who choose not to join in the racing can come down and enjoy some armchair sailing in the warmth of the clubhouse.
